Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a Lead Statistician to support the Wage & Hour Data Analytics group on projects including class and collective actions, DOL audits, and timekeeping/payroll data analyses.

The role involves autonomously handling complex attorney/client issues and supervising a small team of statisticians. You will oversee 2-3 statisticians, collaborate with attorneys, and communicate findings to clients, while expanding data tools and automating workflows to improve accuracy and

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in applied statistics, mathematics, econometrics or a similar field or commensurate experience or equivalent level of training.
• Minimum seven years of data experience directly working with Wage & Hour topics and data (timekeeping and payroll data especially).
• Direct experience with California Wage & Hour topics and data, a large plus.
• Experience leading data analytics projects independently from inception through completion.
• Experience with project management and balancing multiple competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects simultaneously from data intake and methodology development to analysis completion for their own direct work and team members who they are overseeing.
• Oversee the work of 2-3 statisticians to ensure timely, accurate, and quality-control compliant outputs.
• Communicate analysis processes and results clearly to attorneys and client contacts.
• Develop relationships with attorneys and clients and expand data tools used by the team.
