Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a Lead Statistician to support the Wage & Hour Data Analytics group. The role involves handling complex data analyses on timekeeping and payroll data, leading a small team, and serving as the primary liaison for attorneys and clients.

You will guide project strategy, oversee 2–3 statisticians, and ensure timely, quality work while expanding analytics capabilities across cases. An advanced degree in statistics or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or commensurate experience in statistics or related field.
• Expert knowledge of R or Python and Excel for automation.
• Experience leading data analytics projects and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analytics projects on wage & hour topics from inception to completion.
• Oversee 2–3 statisticians, ensuring on-time, high-quality work with QC.
• Serve as primary contact for attorneys, clients, and team manager.
• Communicate analysis methods and results clearly to counsel and clients.
• Develop relationships with attorneys and clients and expand data tools used by the team.
• Mentor teammates in technical and behavioral skills for long-term success.
