Jackson Lewis P.C. seeks a Lead Statistician for the Wage & Hour Data Analytics group to support complex litigation-related data analyses, including class and collective actions, using client timekeeping and payroll data.

The role oversees 2–3 statisticians, works with attorneys to determine project strategies and delivers clear communications on analysis methods and results. A Master’s in a quantitative field is required, with extensive data leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of data experience related to Wage & Hour topics (timekeeping and payroll data).
• Experience with California Wage & Hour topics is a plus.
• Experience leading data analytics projects from inception to completion.
• Experience with project management and balancing multiple priorities.
• Experience overseeing others with a focus on quality-control and code reviews.
• Experience communicating technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact of attorneys, clients, and manager to determine strategies on projects involving data analytics and initiatives.
• Assess client exposure under various litigation scenarios using appropriate methods for different data types and statutes.
• Oversee the work of 2–3 statisticians to ensure on-time, accurate deliverables with quality control.
• Ensure quality work products of assigned statisticians and mentor junior team members.
• Explain analysis processes and results clearly to attorneys and client contacts.
