Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a Senior Vice President, Strategic Alliance to lead retention and growth across the Business and Industry Super Sector in Charlotte. This enterprise leader partners with the SAG CEO, directs Key Account Managers, Directors and admin support, and shapes sector strategy with a strong emphasis on client partnerships and retention outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior leadership roles managing large, complex portfolios or business lines.
• Proven success driving retention and growth in client-based or service organizations.
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial and financial acumen, with P&L experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to the Super Sector CEO, contributing to sector strategy and retention priorities.
• Own retention in SAG accounts and influence growth across the total portfolio.
• Lead and develop Key Account Manager(s), Directors, and administrative support.
• Ensure proactive portfolio management: segmentation, prioritization, and resource alignment.
• Drive growth through retention via expansion, cross-sell, and innovation.
• Support contract extensions, renegotiations, and rebid processes.
• Establish and maintain executive-level client relationships across the sector.
• Collaborate with operators, sales, and support teams to deliver enterprise-wide solutions.
• Ensure consistent execution of retention strategies and best practices across the SAG portfolio.
• Leverage data to monitor portfolio health, anticipate risk, and inform decisions.
