Job summary

Affirm, Inc. seeks a senior leader for its Legal, Compliance, and Public Affairs organization to guide product, regulatory, licensing, litigation, and enforcement strategies globally.

You will mentor senior attorneys, shape cross-functional collaboration, and partner with the executive team to safeguard the company’s mission and growth. The role reports to the CLO/CCO and drives strategic counsel across U.S.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree and bar admission in good standing.
• Two decades of legal experience in fintech, payments, or consumer finance.
• Experience guiding product, regulatory, and enforcement matters at scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for Product, Regulatory, Innovation, Licensing, Litigation & Enforcement functions.
• Provide executive-level counsel to senior leaders, board members, and regulators.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to guide product development within federal, state, and international regulations.
• Oversee regulatory inquiries, examinations, and enforcement actions with risk mitigation.
