Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a senior leader to run Legal, Compliance, and Public Affairs.

You will report to the CLO/CCO and lead teams across the US and international jurisdictions, shaping strategy for product, licensing, litigation, and enforcement while partnering with executives to support growth. The role focuses on strategic counsel, regulatory risk management, and cross-functional collaboration, with a remote-first approach and flexible in-person options.

Qualifications

• J.D. required and bar in good standing.
• 20 years of legal experience incl. law firm/government or in-house in fintech/tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for Product, Regulatory, Innovation, Licensing, Litigation & Enforcement.
• Provide leadership across senior legal teams and cross-functional partners.
• Counsel executive leadership and regulators on product, litigation, and regulatory matters.
• Oversee legal strategy in relation to regulatory inquiries and enforcement actions.
• Manage budgets and outside counsel spend to support company objectives.
