Citi is seeking a Card Processor Strategic Relationship Manager to serve as the enterprise relationship owner for Citi's core payment processing partnership, shaping long‑term strategy and delivering measurable commercial outcomes across Payments, Technology, Product, and Finance.

The role requires executive‑level engagement, governance, and the ability to influence vendor roadmaps while protecting Citi's financial and operational interests in a high‑visibility, global program.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in payments, banking, fintech, or strategic partnership management.
• Hands-on knowledge of card issuing, processing, and digital payment ecosystems.
• Proven track record negotiating complex commercial agreements with major processors or tech partners.
• Experience governing digital wallet programs and tokenization at scale.

Responsibilities

• Act as Citi's senior relationship lead for its primary payment processor and oversee executive engagement and governance.
• Develop and execute a long-term partnership strategy to improve customer experience, cut costs, and unlock revenue via processor capabilities.
• Lead structured governance forums (exec reviews, steering committees, quarterly planning) for alignment and accountability.
• Own end-to-end contract governance, reviewing billing structures and identifying commercial improvements.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Legal to lead negotiations, renewals, and strategic sourcing to protect Citi's interests.
• Partner with Product and Technology to prioritize platform capabilities and influence the processor roadmap.
