Citi's US Consumer Cards business is seeking a Senior Vice President, Network Benefits & Loyalty Lead to shape partnerships with Mastercard and Visa and drive network strategies. The role sits at the intersection of commercial negotiation, product co-creation, and payments ecosystem strategy, influencing Citi's competitive positioning.

Location: New York, NY. Hybrid work model with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in payments with card ecosystem expertise.
• Able to negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Experience delivering large initiatives in matrix organizations.
• Strong relationship-building with senior internal and external partners.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
• Executive-level communication to senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of network loyalty & benefits with Mastercard and Visa, coordinating across teams.
• Negotiate and manage high-profile network partnership deals, aligning with Products, Finance, and Legal.
• Oversee end-to-end deal cycle from evaluation through execution and milestones.
• Lead co-creation lifecycle for new benefits with Mastercard and Visa from business case to launch.
• Monitor contract performance and ensure Citi captures full value of obligations.
• Assess ecosystem developments and provide actionable Citi responses.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to address challenges in the payments environment.
