Job summary

BNY in New York seeks a Senior Vice President, Application Development Manager to join our corporate organization group. This role is based in New York and will lead multiple development teams across diverse platforms to deliver client area application systems.

You will oversee analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support, ensuring production systems stay available and stable while aligning with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years in systems analysis and program development with supervisory/management experience.
• Experience in securities or financial services is a plus.
• Experience leading development teams.
• People leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support for client area application systems across diverse platforms.
• Manage medium to large-sized or multiple small teams responsible for all phases of the systems development and implementation process.
• Analyzes organizational needs for application development and interfaces with clients to ensure systems meet business requirements.
• Oversees applications programming and analysis projects including development, installation and maintenance of application programs.
• Ensures availability, integrity and stability of production systems by identifying resources and responding quickly to problems.
