Job summary

BNY Mellon in New York is seeking a Senior Vice President, Application Development Manager to lead and manage client area application systems across diverse platforms. You will guide analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support for critical production systems.

The role requires 10+ years of experience in systems analysis and program development, people leadership, and prior experience leading development teams; securities/financial services experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in systems analysis and program development with supervisory/management experience.
• Experience in the securities or financial services industries is a plus.
• Experience leading one or more development teams and people leadership required.

Responsibilities

• Provides analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support for client area applications across diverse platforms.
• Manage medium to large-sized or multiple small teams responsible for all phases of the systems development and implementation process.
• Analyze organizational needs for application development and interface with clients to meet business requirements.
• Oversee applications programming and analysis projects including development, installation and maintenance of programs.
• Ensure availability, integrity and stability of production systems and respond quickly to problems.
