Job summary

Advocate Health in Georgia is seeking a Senior Unified Communications Engineer to lead critical VoIP projects and support enterprise voice systems. You will design, implement, and maintain IP-PBX, SBCs, call management, voicemail, and IVR while enforcing IT security and business continuity policies onsite.

You will serve as a Tier-3 expert, provide incident response, collaborate with engineers and clinicians, mentor junior staff, and help plan upgrades and cost‑effective voice technology

Qualifications

5+ years exp installing and supporting information systems, preferably in healthcare.
Experience with Unified Communications; CCNA or Collaboration certification preferred.
On-site Georgia location with ability to work evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Lead UC projects to completion and advise leaders on technical direction.
Design and support enterprise VoIP infrastructure, IP-PBXs, SBCs, and related software.
Provide Tier-3 incident response and escalation within SLAs; collaborate with help desk.
Plan upgrades, document designs, and coordinate with vendors for service.
Mentor telecom staff and develop standards for voice systems reliability.
