Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Senior Unified Communications Engineer to lead enterprise VoIP projects, design and support voice infrastructure, and provide Tier 3 incident response. You will collaborate with site leaders, coordinate with vendors, and mentor telecom staff.

The role requires advanced knowledge of VoIP, SIP, PSTN, and enterprise networks, with a focus on security and business continuity in a healthcare setting. On-site work in Georgia is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years experience installing and supporting sophisticated information systems, preferably in healthcare.
• CCNA or Collaboration Track certification or higher within 2nd year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead UC projects and design/ support enterprise VoIP infrastructure.
• Provide Tier 3 incident response and collaboration with help desk.
• Develop enterprise architecture for voice technologies and upgrades.
• Coordinate with vendors for MACDs and inventory management.
• Train and mentor telecom team members; ensure security and continuity.
