Job summary
GCyber is hiring a Senior Voice Engineer to support a high-profile Air Force network program. The Senior Voice Engineer will manage the Cisco VoIP environment, from Call Manager through external SIP connections, and will work onsite at Scott AFB, IL with no remote options.
Responsibilities include configuring CUCM, Unity, IM&P, teleconference bridges, and Ribbon VX900 devices; designing SIP trunks and interfaces to external networks; maintaining DoD compliance and performing Tier 3 engineering
Qualifications
- Active DoD TOP SECRET clearance
- Cisco voice certification with a concentration in CUCM
- DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification
- BA/BS and a minimum of 5 years of VoIP experience
- Hands-on administration of CUCM, Cisco Unity, IM&P, and teleconference bridges
- Experience designing and troubleshooting SIP trunks between organizations
- Experience patching and STIGing voice infrastructure to DoD timelines
- Routing and switching experience to support Tier 3 work
Responsibilities
- Configure, develop, patch, STIG, and add features to the Cisco VoIP system (CUCM, Unity, IM&P, teleconference bridges, Ribbon VX900)
- Develop configurations for CUCM SBCs and other SIP devices connecting to external networks
- Develop and troubleshoot SIP connections to customer networks (Asterisk, CMC Express, SRST)
- Support VoIP in the Systems Integration Lab and at three gateway sites
- Perform and assist with Tier 3 network engineering work
- Keep voice infrastructure current with DISA STIG and cyber tasking order requirements
