Job summary

Trace Systems Inc. in Scott AFB, Illinois, is seeking a Senior Voice Engineer to lead Tier III design, configuration, testing, security hardening, and sustainment of EACN enterprise voice capabilities for DoD clients.

The role requires advanced Cisco UC expertise (CUCM, Unity, CUBE, SBCs), DoD 8140 credentials, and a Secret clearance; you will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with government site personnel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise voice engineering experience, incl. advanced support of Cisco UC environments.
• DoD 8140 qualification requirements or equivalent; clearance/certification may be required.
• CUCM, Unity, CUBE, SBCs, SIP, SRST, and voice security hardening experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tier III engineering, configuration, troubleshooting, and sustainment of the EACN Cisco VoIP environment.
• Configure and enhance Cisco UC components and teleconferencing bridges.
• Develop configurations for border elements and SIP-enabled devices.
• Engineer SIP connections between EACN and external voice systems.
• Perform network engineering, testing, and change implementation with documentation.
