Job summary

GCyber is seeking a Senior Voice Engineer to support a high-profile Air Force network program at Scott AFB, IL. The role covers the Cisco VoIP environment from Call Manager through external SIP connections, with full-time onsite requirements.

The ideal candidate holds an active DoD TOP SECRET clearance, a CUCM-focused Cisco voice certification, and 5+ years of VoIP experience, ready to design, implement, and troubleshoot SIP trunks and voice infrastructure in a DoD environment.

Qualifications

Active DoD TOP SECRET clearance required.
Cisco voice certification focusing on CUCM.
DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification.
BA/BS plus 5+ years VoIP production experience.
Hands-on administration of CUCM, Unity, IM&P, and teleconferencing.
Experience designing/troubleshooting SIP trunks between organizations.
Patching STIGs to DoD timelines; routing and switching for Tier 3.

Responsibilities

Configure, patch, STIG, and add features to Cisco VoIP system (CUCM, Unity, IM&P, bridges, Ribbon devices).
Develop configurations for SBCs, Session Border Controllers, and SIP devices connecting to external voice networks.
Develop and troubleshoot SIP connections to customer networks including Asterisk and SRST.
Support VoIP capability in the lab and at three gateway sites.
Perform and assist with Tier 3 network engineering work.
Keep voice infrastructure current with DISA STIG and cyber tasking orders.
