Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a senior engineer to provide advanced technical support for VM Essentials and Morpheus deployments across on‑prem, hybrid, and cloud environments. You will own high‑severity escalations, perform root cause analysis, and guide cross‑functional teams to customer success.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in virtualization, cloud management, or enterprise support, with deep expertise in hypervisor internals and datacenter design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of deep technical experience in virtualization, cloud management, or enterprise support.
• Expertise in hypervisor internals, orchestration platforms, or large-scale datacenter design.
• Track record of leading technical escalations, RCAs, and cross-functional engagements.
• Ability to influence product quality and drive architectural improvements.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English language.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for HPE VM Essentials and Morpheus Enterprise customer deployments across on‑prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Own and drive resolution of highest-severity escalations, critical customer incidents, and root cause analysis activities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to virtualization, compute, operating systems, storage, networking, and automation platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Product Development, Engineering, Operations and Account Management to ensure customer success.
• Document solutions, FAQs, and best practices to improve internal knowledge bases.
• Provide architectural guidance to customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate closely within your team and other engineering teams on defect reproduction, triage, and product maturity.
• Develop tools, automation, and processes to improve support efficiency.
• Serve as a mentor and technical leader for the entire support organization.
• Influence product roadmap and design through field and customer insights, supportability requirements, and complex deployment learnings.
