Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a senior engineer to provide top-tier virtualization and cloud management expertise. This onsite role focuses on supporting HPE VM Essentials and Morpheus deployments across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.

You will own critical escalations, drive RCAs, and mentor the broader engineering team while influencing product maturity through field insights. Located in Alpharetta, Georgia, with annual salary range advertised above.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of in-depth virtualization, cloud management, or enterprise support experience.
• Proven ability to lead escalations and RCAs, influence product quality, and mentor staff.
• Strong English communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for HPE VM Essentials and Morpheus deployments across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud.
• Own and drive high-severity escalations and root-cause analyses.
• Diagnose virtualization, compute, OS, storage, networking, and automation issues.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Operations, and Account Management.
• Document solutions and best practices to improve knowledge bases.
• Provide architectural guidance to customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with teams on defect reproduction, triage and product maturity.
• Develop tools and automation to improve support efficiency.
• Mentor and lead the global support organization.
• Influence product roadmap using field insights and deployment learnings.
