Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required for operating a state vehicle.
• Three years of general office, clerical and administrative support experience; education may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and guidelines to judges, attorneys and district court staff when records require amendments.
• Exercise independent judgment to approve or deny requests while ensuring compliance with statutes.
• Consult KDHE Legal Services when court orders conflict with state law.
• Scrutinize documents to detect fraud in vital records.
• Prepare correspondence and respond to customers including public, judges and attorneys.
