Job summary

CDW is seeking a Senior Engineer for its Managed Services team to design, implement, and support complex virtualization and infrastructure solutions. You will work across VMware, Nutanix, and Cisco UCS platforms, providing high-level technical guidance and customer-focused service delivery.

You will participate in on-call rotations, drive architecture discussions, develop test plans, and help optimize operations for multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related technical field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in a large-scale, multi-tenant Data Center environment
• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies and infrastructure
• Experience with hyper-converged infrastructure (Cisco HyperFlex, Nutanix and/or VMware vSAN)
• Experience with scripting to automate tasks using PowerShell/PowerCLI or Cisco UCS PowerTool

Responsibilities

• Provide innovative technical solutions to complex hardware/software problems
• Deliver design, implementation, and technical support services for Managed Services clients
• Lead on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support for critical systems
• Perform throughput analysis, problem solving, and infrastructure planning
• Create and execute test plans to meet project requirements for assigned components
• Lead design workshops for complex designs to meet objectives
• Mentor and consult on virtualization technologies within CDW teams
