Job summary

TekStream Solutions is seeking a Senior Nutanix Cloud Engineer to support multiple clients with hands-on design, migration, and automation on the Nutanix platform. The role requires leading migration projects from VMware to Nutanix and configuring Nutanix and AWS environments for hybrid deployments.

The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years of automation-focused experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and be willing to travel up to 25% in the Southeast U.S.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience focused on Automation.
• Experience completing at least two VMware to Nutanix migrations end-to-end.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Nutanix certifications preferred: NCP-MCI, NCM-MCI, NCSE, NPX.
• Open to travel up to 25% in the Southeast U.S. and must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Our client is seeking a Senior Nutanix Cloud Engineer to join their Consulting team. The person in this role will be responsible for supporting multiple clients with hands-on customized design of the Nutanix platform as well as all tasks related to migration, implementation, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design Nutanix platforms for client environments according to their individual technical needs.
• Lead full lifecycle VMware to Nutanix migration design and implementation efforts.
• Deployment and configuration of Nutanix environments.
• Build and configure AWS environments for clients who are hybrid.
• Support maintenance windows and after-hours/weekend cutovers.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience working with a focus on Automation
• Must have completed at least two VMware to Nutanix migrations end-to-end.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study or equivalent experience.
• One or more of the following Nutanix certifications strongly preferred: NCP-MCI, NCM-MCI, NCSE, or NPX
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
