Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, Computer Science, or other relevant degree
• 5+ years of experience in product development, systems engineering, or work related to software/hardware connectivity
• Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink or similar software that uses code-based logic for model-based simulation
• Track record of delivering complex multi-domain models into SIL/HIL/CoSim workflows
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to lead and mentor others and deliver with creativity and latitude

Responsibilities

• Develop high-fidelity component plant models in MATLAB/Simulink that emulate hardware interfaces
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate hardware designs into modeling requirements
• Implement plant models for GM CoSim environments with correct I/O definitions and naming
• Parameterize, correlate, and improve model fidelity using test/bench/vehicle data
• Support integration into system and vehicle-level co-simulation environments
• Lead model correlation and validation strategy and set acceptance thresholds
• Document modeling assumptions, calibration parameters, and validation results
• Lead development of model requirements documentation and ensure up-to-date deliverables
• Contribute to standards and best practices for component plant modeling
• Own system-level modeling strategy across multiple components/domains
• Define and drive model architecture and fidelity criteria across programs
• Lead model correlation and validation strategies and arbitrate trade-offs
