Job summary
General Motors in Detroit, MI is seeking an Applications Engineer specializing in virtual in-the-loop environments for embedded controllers and calibrations across hybrid and electrification programs. You will develop and verify SiL co-simulations, integrate V-ECUs, and build system-level models to support engine, propulsion, and transmission controls.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Automotive, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Software or related field.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver virtual in-the-loop environments for development, verification and validation of embedded controllers.
- Integrate V-ECUs and subsystem models into system-level simulation.
- Model Hybrid Vehicle Systems and debug/deploy subsystem models as system-level components.
- Develop, maintain and test virtual controller components (HWIO, RTOS, communication models).
- Provide support for released simulations and assist with user testing and troubleshooting.
