Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Virtual Desktop Engineering Consultant to support a major enterprise IT group. The role focuses on architecture, design, and ongoing management of virtual desktop environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.

The consultant will contribute to strategy, evaluating technologies, and implementing CVAD to Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix DaaS migrations, while ensuring security, performance, and user experience.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years designing, managing and supporting large-scale enterprise VDI environments.
• Experience with CVAD, AV Desktop, and DaaS migrations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as consulting engineer within the virtual desktop architecture team.
• Provide engineering and operational support for Citrix and AVD ticket queues, migrations, and improvements.
• Lead architecture, design, implementation, and optimization of VDI environments.
• Support migration strategy from CVAD on-premises to AV Desktop and Citrix DaaS.
