Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks an AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) Engineer to design, configure, and maintain a large enterprise VDI environment. You will serve as SME for performance issues and collaborate across teams to enable secure, scalable desktop solutions.

The role requires experience with Azure AD/Intune, FSLogix, and VDI tooling; strong communication; and a commitment to operational excellence in supporting national missions.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance.
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD.
• Master's degree + 7 years\' experience OR 16 years of experience.
• Experience in Microsoft Azure, Azure Networking, Storage and Virtual Desktops.
• Experience managing and administering Windows Servers.
• Experience with Azure AD, Intune, FSLogix.
• Experience in VDI profile management.
• Endpoint protection, policy management and application of STIGs.
• AVD integration with Office 365 services.
• Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services.
• Collaborate and work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design, provide Tier 3/4 support to system administrators to resolve VDI issues.
• Guidance on desktop optimization for platform interoperability and liaison between VDI technologies.
• Endpoint support on VDI tasks and related trouble resolution.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of administration, engineering and implementation of VDI technologies.
• Operate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Apply extensive technical expertise across related disciplines.
• Conduct trade studies and make recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions.
