Job summary

A dynamic technology firm is seeking a Senior Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Administrator in Austin, TX. This senior-level role focuses on managing, optimizing, and securing large-scale virtual desktop environments using Azure and Citrix technologies. Key responsibilities include leading AVD architecture and operations, as well as automation tasks for server platforms. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in AVD management and Windows Server administration, along with a deep understanding of networking and security best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years administering Azure Virtual Desktop and/or Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops.
• 5+ years managing Windows Server, including AD and GPO.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of AVD environments.
• Manage Windows Server platforms and automate tasks with PowerShell.
• Implement secure networking models and monitor systems for performance.
