Job summary

HCSC is seeking an experienced IT professional to enhance the Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) experience through automation and design. You will guide desktop virtualization architectures, roadmaps, and build-kits with Virtualization Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, and Service Management.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with AVD, Citrix workloads migration to Azure, FSLogix profiles, and automation tools such as Nerdio for AVD. Strong communication and ITIL practices are valued.

Qualifications

Hands-on with Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop environments and components.
Experience with host pools, session hosts, workspaces and app groups.
Proficient in FSLogix profile containers and performance tuning.
Experience migrating Citrix workloads to AVD and RemoteApp delivery.
Familiar with ITIL v3 practices and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement Azure Virtual Desktop environments and roadmaps.
Collaborate with Virtualization Engineering, Infra Operations, and Infra Service Management.
Design and build repeatable build-kits to speed deployments for non-prod and prod.
Transition knowledge to Infrastructure Operations.
Support migration of Citrix workloads to Azure Virtual Desktop and optimize delivery.
