A leading academic medical center in Ann Arbor, MI seeks a Lead Engineer for Azure Virtual Desktop to provide engineering services supporting efficient desktop virtualization. The successful candidate will have 8+ years in IT, strong knowledge of Citrix XenApp, and experience with Windows Server and desktop operating systems. You will troubleshoot both Citrix and Azure environments, develop scripts for automation, and collaborate with various teams to improve system efficiencies. This is a hybrid position, combining remote work with occasional onsite responsibilities.
Qualifications
8+ years of IT related experience.
Experience administering Azure Virtual Desktop environments or comparable virtualization environments.
Ability to respond to incidents after hours during on-call support windows.
Responsibilities
Maintain health and troubleshooting issues with Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows OS.
Oversee Citrix XenApp infrastructure for system stability and accessibility.
Create scripts to automate administrative tasks.
