Job summary

Veterinarian Partners in Chicago is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to lead full-cycle veterinary recruitment across multiple hospitals. You will own requisitions, design sourcing strategies, and partner with hospital leadership to deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will mentor other recruiters, share best practices, and drive talent pipelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, written and verbal.
• Proven ability to mentor recruiting professionals.
• Highly organized with multi-search management.
• Experience tracking recruiting metrics and ATS data.
• Willingness to travel nationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle veterinarian recruitment from requisition intake through onboarding.
• Lead strategic intake sessions with hospital leaders to establish hiring priorities and search strategies.
• Execute proactive sourcing across networks, referrals, social media, industry associations, and direct outreach.
• Build robust candidate pipelines to support immediate hiring and long-term workforce needs.
• Evaluate candidates based on clinical experience, career goals, and fit with hospital needs.
• Present qualified candidates with actionable insights to help hiring managers decide.
• Drive interview and selection by managing scheduling, travel, and communications.
• Lead offer development and negotiations and finalize employment terms.
