Job summary

Wounded Warrior Project seeks a Senior National Service Officer-Appeals to advocate for veterans and dependents with benefits appeals before the VA. You will draft and review decisions, manage case dockets, and advise on the best appeal options.

You will collaborate with Benefits Services and training teams to improve processes, maintain accreditation standards, and support the appellate workflow across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a veteran's benefits advocate.
• Experience with Board of Veterans Appeals preferred.
• Knowledge of VA regulations and Title 38 U.S.C.

Responsibilities

• Draft decisions for review by VLJ.
• Manage appeals dockets and evidence.
• Review credibility of medical and lay evidence.
• Prepare appellate briefs and hearings docketed at BVA.
• Train teammates on appellate best practices.
