Job summary

Santander Consumer USA Inc. is seeking a seasoned Manager of Third Party Risk - Vendor Management to lead a team responsible for relationships with external partners. You will oversee planning, audits, information requests, and change management, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with contracts.

You will partner with executive leadership and business units to drive risk-aware vendor programs, coach staff, monitor SLAs, and communicate insights to stakeholders across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services, required.
• Experience in TPRM standards within Vendor Management, required.
• 5+ years of management/leadership experience.
• Ability to lead, develop and motivate a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with executive leadership and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain relationships with third parties.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and communications of meetings, audits, information, and change requests.
• Oversee day-to-day workflow and resource allocation of Vendor Management team.
• Provide input into department vision and direction.
• Maintain cohesion, training, and development of the Vendor Management program.
• Ensure audits and meetings are organized as per partnership agreements.
• Prepare regular status reports and present to partners.
• Develop and manage Vendor Management direct reports.
• Coach and train associates on tools and processes.
• Monitor SLAs and coordinate with customers and vendors.
