Banco Santander S.A. is seeking an experienced 3rd Party Risk Management Associate in the United States to lead vendor relationships, conduct risk assessments, and ensure TPRM compliance.

You will coordinate reviews, manage onboarding, review insurance certificates, and work with procurement, legal, and finance to improve vendor performance. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in vendor management, with strong communication and negotiation skills to drive risk-informed decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in vendor management or partner relations.
• Strong knowledge of TPRM standards and best practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and perform business reviews, exit strategies, and inherent risk assessments per TPRM standards.
• Serve as primary vendor contact, maintaining open communication and addressing issues promptly.
• Manage onboarding for new vendors, timelines, documentation, and introductory meetings.
• Request and review certificates of insurance to ensure contractual compliance.
• Oversee vendor reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with procurement, legal, and finance to streamline vendor processes.
• Monitor vendor performance metrics and provide updates with corrective actions when needed.
• Build and maintain partnerships with business line owners you support.
