Job summary

Santander Group is seeking a Manager, Third Party Risk - Vendor Management in the United States. The role leads vendor relationships, oversees planning, audits, and change requests, and guides the Vendor Management team.

You will interact with executives, drive risk controls, and ensure timely reporting and program development. Responsibilities include coaching staff, maintaining training, and coordinating with partners to meet partnership agreements while ensuring compliance and strong risk

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial services industry experience.
• Experience in TPRM standards within Vendor Management.
• 5+ years minimum of management/leadership experience.
• Excellent presentation skills and experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to influence across the organization.
• Ability to lead, develop and motivate a team.
• Demonstrated statistical analysis and problem solving.
• Ability to work under deadlines and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain relationships with third parties partnered with the company.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and communications of meetings, audits and information requests.
• Oversee day-to-day workflow and resource allocation of the Vendor Management team.
• Contribute to the vision and direction of the department to support senior management directives.
• Maintain training and development of the Vendor Management program.
• Provide oversight to ensure information is gathered and delivered accurately and timely.
• Organize and facilitate audits and meetings in accordance with partnership agreements.
• Prepare regular status reports and present to partner stakeholders.
• Develop and manage direct reports aligned with corporate objectives.
• Maintain knowledge of tools available to associates and coach accordingly.
• Serve as a point of contact for Business Partners and monitor SLAs.
