Job summary
Stellantis NV in Auburn, AL is seeking an experienced engineer to manage all technical aspects of vehicle development, from design and release to cost control and program management. You will coordinate with manufacturing teams and stakeholders to meet quality, timing, and regulatory requirements.
The role requires deep vehicle systems knowledge (Body/Chassis/Powertrain) and strong leadership, with responsibilities spanning design, tooling kickoff, and issue resolution across multiple
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years Automotive Industry experience.
- Experience in vehicle/component design/release engineering, cost, program management, or component cost analysis.
- Experience with NVH, Durability, Safety, Dynamics.
- Excellent leadership communications / people skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to manage change and present ideas to all levels of management
- MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical activity of component and system development.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering and the plant.
- Manage the technical relationship with stakeholders.
- Lead decision / stakeholder meetings.
- Design freeze and tooling kickoff.
- Ensure regulatory conformity.
- Align design and manufacturing to meet cost, investment, and quality objectives.
