Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Project Quality Manager to oversee quality objectives for vehicle programs, from early concept through production and lifecycle. You will drive cross-functional teams to address field and plant design issues, lead root-cause analysis, and ensure APQP and quality deliverables throughout the program lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 8+ years of automotive quality experience, and strong communication and program management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of automotive experience, preferably in plant quality environment.
• Broad quality knowledge across processes and products.
• Excellent communication and ability to present ideas to management.
• Strong program management and cross-functional leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality objectives achievement from concept to mass production.
• Produce monthly synthesis of results and updated quality KPI forecasts.
• Drive engineers to address design anomalies detected on vehicles in the field or plant.
• Coordinate yard holds and campaigns for retrofit/rework activities.
• Ensure quality deliverables are met during mass production.
• Organize root-cause analysis for anomalies in development and start of mass production.
• Provide quality input on proposed technical modifications (PEPP).
• Manage APQP follow-up and preventive/corrective actions.
