Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Senior Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist in the New York, NY area to facilitate transport of customer vehicles to Manheim auction sites and surrounding regions. You will build carrier relationships, manage orders, and analyze data to improve margins.

The role requires strong communication skills, data entry accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while delivering timely results. Prior automotive logistics experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years administrative experience (in automotive industry preferred).
• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills.
• High attention to detail including precise data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Build relationship with Manheim Auction commercial team and management.
• Show proficiency with communication via recorded line phone system.
• Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate on regional emails.
• Entry of all manual orders and processing of other AS400 system orders.
• Monitor holds and verification delays.
• Dispatch negotiation to increase margin.
• Action AutoIMS for Trans Delay Holds, Cancellations, ETA's.
• Follow up with carriers on VINs daily.
• Measure performance and generate reports for leadership.
