Job summary

Cox Enterprises in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist to manage transport of customer vehicles to and from Manheim auction sites across the region. You will build relationships with Manheim commercial teams, handle AS400 orders, coordinate carriers, monitor VINs, and generate performance reports for senior leadership while working in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years administrative experience (in automotive industry preferred).
• Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word proficiency.
• Able to work independently in a matrix environment to deliver results.
• Excellent customer service and multi-tasking skills.
• High attention to detail including precise data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with a high sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License and the ability to pass a background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Build relationship with Manheim Auction commercial team and management.
• Show proficiency with communication via recorded line phone system.
• Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate on regional emails.
• Enter all manual orders and process other AS400 system orders.
• Manage escalated Client Success VINs with carriers and agents.
• Monitor holds and verification delays.
• Dispatch negotiation and a strong understanding of sales tactics to increase margin.
• Utilize AutoIMS for trans delay holds, cancellations, ETA's.
• Follow up with carriers on VINs daily.
• Process fees and post assessorial charges to record.
• Request hold harmless/releases.
• Investigate kickback of VINs by carriers to redistribute units.
• Hold carriers accountable to their plan.
• Create and manage corrective action of a vendor.
• Monitor order entry failures and correct.
• Understand margin relative to position and track margin requirements.
• Monitor and correct master data files for location errors.
• Measure performance and analyze client/vendor data.
• Report performance results to senior management.
• Compile vehicle transportation data and generate reports.
• Follow all job-related duties as directed by supervisor.
• Be an outside the box thinker who can solve problems quickly.
• Work knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment to execute and deliver results.
• History of customer service and multi-tasking positions.
