Job summary

International is seeking a Senior Technical Support Analyst to deliver expert diagnostic and repair support across Powertrain, Chassis/Electrical, and Vehicle Programming lines. The role involves case work, phone and remote sessions, documenting trends, and partnering with internal teams to improve service information and repair guidance.

Ideal candidates have a background in field service engineering or automotive service, with strong diagnostic and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 1+ year field service engineering experience or automotive service.
Master's degree with no professional experience is acceptable.
At least 3 years of field service engineering or truck/automotive experience.

Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic and repair support for technical vehicle issues.
Respond to requests via case files, phone, email, or chat and remote sessions.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, software, or system integration concerns.
Document interactions, findings, repair direction, and recurring issues.
Escalate complex issues to Tier 2, Service Engineering, or internal teams.
Identify trends and communicate improvement opportunities.
Provide feedback to publications, training, and service tools.
Support continuous improvement to reduce case volume and improve response time.
Maintain current technical knowledge through training and updates.
Travel onsite for training or support as needed.
