Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior VDI Administrator to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DoD. The role involves remote admin of offsite data centers, Tier 2/3 support for Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp/NetScaler/StoreFront and AVD, and collaboration with engineering for modernization.

Qualifications

• DoD 8140.03 IT System Admin Intermediate certs required (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC or higher).
• TS/SCI with Poly required for position or willingness to obtain and maintain a poly.
• US citizenship required.
• Experience with Citrix technologies and M365 AVD in large enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Remote administration of servers in offsite data centers (Tier 2/3 support).
• Maintain and upgrade Citrix-based desktops and apps, monitor health and capacity.
• Collaborate with engineering for modernization and deployment of policies.
• Develop SOPs, perform incident analysis, and provide after-action reports.
• Mentor junior staff and assist with after-hours mission-critical work.
