Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior VDI Administrator to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DoD. You will manage remote administration of offsite data centers, provide Tier 2/3 support for Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp/NetScaler/StoreFront and M365 Azure Virtual Desktops, and drive improvements in reliability and user experience across multiple enclaves.

The role requires DoD 8140.03 IT certification equivalence and a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years (or higher) of relevant experience, plus TS/SCI

Qualifications

Experience interacting with customers to handle service inquiries and problems.
Experience as a Tier 2/3 system administrator with Citrix technologies and M365 Azure Virtual Desktop.
Knowledge of IC IT standards and best practices.
Experience with patch/upgrade methodology for Citrix front-end/back-end systems.

Responsibilities

Remote administration of servers in offsite data centers.
Provide Tier 2/3 operations support for Citrix and AVD environments.
Monitor infrastructure and diagnose system anomalies to protect customer experience.
Plan modernization efforts with Engineering to meet requirements.
Coordinate testing and deployment of policy changes and upgrades.
Conduct routine maintenance within prescribed maintenance windows.
Mentor and train junior team members.
