GovTact and Leidos Government Health & Safety Solution Group, supporting CMS ECIS 2, seeks a Senior Citrix Engineer to design, implement, and secure Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and NetScaler in cloud and on‑prem environments. The role focuses on delivering end‑user centric IT solutions for CMS, building golden images, managing Citrix Cloud components, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science with 8+ years of progressive experience in a Citrix Engineering role.
Strong engineering experience in designing, implementing, managing, and securing Citrix XenApp and Netscaler systems.
Strong knowledge of VDI based on Citrix Apps and Desktops, PVS/MCS, and Citrix Cloud in Azure and on‑premise datacenters.
Strong knowledge of App Layering technology and NetScaler/ADC.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory GPO management and AD objects.
Experience in desktop administration and troubleshooting (Windows 10) and server‑based Citrix solutions.

Responsibilities

Deploy and manage Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and components like StoreFront, PVS, MCS, Director, UPM, and DDC.
Deploy and maintain non‑persistent Citrix VDES based on Windows/Server OS.
Provide support to customers and developers to deliver apps via Citrix Virtual Apps.
Create, test, and maintain golden images using Citrix App Layering.
Design and deploy NetScaler/ADC including Gateway, policies, and VIPs.
Familiar with Citrix Cloud features such as IAM (SAML 2.0) and Workspace Configuration.
Build out Citrix environments in Azure and/or AWS.
Upgrade, patch, and migrate Citrix components; troubleshoot site availability and performance.
Document Citrix processes and interact with other teams as needed.
