Job summary

Candidates should have 10+ years in virtualization, TS/SCI clearance, IAT II, and strong scripting skills. This role requires knowledge of AD, DNS, TCP/IP, and security best practices for secure desktop virtualization.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance required to operate in secure DoD networks.
• 10+ years designing, installing, configuring and managing VMware components (vSphere/vSAN) in Horizon environments.
• IAT Level II certification.
• Proven experience with VMware, Horizon, Citrix, Azure, or other virtualization stacks.
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and RHEL desktop master image management.
• Strong VDI deployment, configuration, and management practices.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops network and system architectures per mission requirements.
• Interacts with users and stakeholders to determine needs and translate into requirements.
• Performs cost-benefit analyses to select manual, software, or hardware solutions.
• Develops partitioning algorithms to allocate requirements efficiently, reducing cross-partition communication.
• Deploys and configures VDI environments including Horizon, Citrix, Azure, and AWS.
• Maintains desktop pools, user profiles, and configurations for optimal performance.
