Job summary

Accelera Solutions is seeking a Senior VDI Engineer to design, implement, and maintain VDI solutions (Hyper-V/VMware) across USAF bases, ensuring scalability, security, and a high-quality user experience.

The role emphasizes automation scripting, Azure/Kubernetes integration, incident troubleshooting, and documentation, with an active DoD Secret clearance and proximity to Chantilly, VA. Hybrid work arrangement supported.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience; degree may substitute for 5 years.
• 5+ years’ experience with Azure, virtualization, Windows Server, and AD.
• Experience with STIGs/NIST/FEDRAMP and IA coordination is preferred.
• Hands-on cloud migration and Linux/Windows administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and implementation of VDI solutions (Hyper-V/VMware).
• Automate deployment of VMs and maintain VDI infrastructure and base images.
• Monitor performance, optimize cost, and address bottlenecks.
• Document architectures, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with DevOps, developers, and sysadmins to support app deployment.
