Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Senior VDC Manager to lead BIM/technology across pursuit, preconstruction, and operations. The role emphasizes training, standards, and strategic use of BIM to drive project outcomes.

You will oversee BIM workflows, collaborate with design partners and subcontractors, and pursue new opportunities through strong client relationships. This is a high-impact leadership role in Southern California.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Design or related field.
8+ years of BIM/technology implementation and related roles.
Experience with team-based delivery, collaboration, contracting, and design-build processes.
Proficiency with PC basics (email, internet, Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).
Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam.
Knowledge of Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, InfraWorks, BIM 360.

Responsibilities

Oversee BIM/technology implementation across pursuit, preconstruction and operations.
Lead training on technology and processes.
Ensure BIM standards compliance per client requirements.
Develop and enforce BIM Execution Plans on projects.
Coordinate BIM activities with project teams and subcontractors.
Identify and evaluate new technologies for adoption.
Build relationships with customers, design teams, suppliers, and user groups.
Present to pursue new business opportunities through relationships.
