Sherwood Staffing Partners seeks a VDC Manager to lead its BIM/VDC department across three California offices. Based in Brea, you will mentor a team of about 15, set standards, own the technology roadmap, and ensure models are production-ready for field use.

This department leadership role focuses on strategic direction and coordination with preconstruction, project management, and field leadership. You will elevate VDC as a competitive advantage and drive growth, with responsibility for

Qualifications

• Experience leading BIM/VDC teams across multiple offices.
• Strong command of Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with field use of models and coordination with GC/architects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the BIM/VDC team across three offices, including hiring, training, and performance.
• Own VDC standards, workflows, templates, and software decisions companywide.
• Oversee model coordination and clash resolution with GCs, architects, and trade partners.
• Partner with preconstruction, project management, and field leadership to get models into production use (layout, prefab, quantification, installation).
• Manage schedules, deliverables, and resource allocation across a large project portfolio.
• Report on VDC performance and continue building out the department's capabilities.
