Job summary

Slayden Constructors Inc. (SCI) is seeking a Senior VDC Engineer for our Medford, Oregon project. The role focuses on leading VDC/BIM coordination, model integration, and the development of standards across disciplines.

You will implement ACC environments, integrate Trimble and survey data, and create 3D visualizations to support construction delivery, while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in VDC/BIM or digital construction roles.
• Expert proficiency with Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks Manage, Recap, and ACC.
• Hands-on experience with survey instruments and Trimble ecosystem.
• Strong model coordination, clash detection, and constructive workflows.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary environments and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead VDC/BIM coordination and model integration across disciplines.
• Develop and enforce VDC standards, templates, and best practices.
• Create and QC deliverables such as lift drawings and earthwork models.
• Set up and maintain ACC project environments and workflows.
• Collaborate with field survey teams for accurate field layout and data integration.
• Produce visualizations and support 4D scheduling and site logistics.
