Job summary

MWH Constructors is seeking a Senior VDC Engineer to advance Digital Delivery across office and field teams. You will lead BIM/modeling efforts, manage isometrics and orthos for process piping, and coordinate with design and construction professionals to ensure accurate, timely deliverables.

You will develop 3D model content, educate teams on workflows, and support on-site deployment of VDC tools, including AR/VR, to improve construction efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering/Construction Management or related technical field with relevant experience.
• Hands-on BIM toolset experience using Autodesk BIM tools (Revit, Plant3D, Navisworks) with at least 10 years of professional application experience.
• Familiarity with project scheduling, baseline schedules, and progress analyses.
• Experience with reality capture tools (laser scanning, drones, point clouds).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and standard business apps.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM-based coordination with project teams and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain 3D model content to support self-perform processes.
• Produce fabrication isometrics and orthographic drawings for process piping systems.
• Review submittals and data to support modeling efforts and project coordination.
• Support on-site teams with VDC/Digital Delivery practices including AR/VR.
• Educate project teams on software workflows used throughout design and construction.
