Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an Experienced VDC/BIM Coordinator to lead on-site VDC coordination for projects in Indianapolis, IN. You will review design models, manage RFI/submittals, and collaborate with trades, design partners, and clients to advance BIM workflows throughout construction.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in VDC or related field, 4+ years of experience, and proficiency with Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, ACC, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in VDC or related field with 4+ years of experience or equivalent
• Able to read, interpret contract docs, drawings, specs and schedules
• Proficient with BIM coordination, RFIs, submittals and QA/QC processes
• Basic scripting/coding skills (Dynamo, Python)
• Familiar with BIM tools: Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, ACC, Navisworks, ReCap
• Experience with VR/AR and reality capture workflows is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Lead VDC coordination meetings and BIM execution plans
• Review and coordinate design models on site with stakeholders
• Manage file control, document control and SOP adherence
• Develop BIM-based takeoffs, 4D scheduling, and production tracking
• Support continuous improvement through lessons learned and tool deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Preconstruction and Reality Capture
• Travel as required to project sites and offices
• Perform other VDC workflows as assigned
