Job summary

DAVIS is seeking a Senior Virtual Construction Engineer to lead BIM/VDC coordination on complex construction projects. You will guide federated model development, manage clash detection, and coordinate shop drawings and RFIs with project teams.

You will mentor junior staff, ensure QA/QC, and align deliverables with project schedules. Strong communication and multi-project leadership are essential in this role.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
At least 3 years VDC experience on construction projects.
Advanced proficiency with BIM software (Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD).
Ability to manage federated models, clash detection, and issue resolution.
Strong understanding of point cloud processing for VDC.

Responsibilities

Lead advanced BIM/VDC coordination on complex projects.
Oversee federated model setup and coordination reports.
Coordinate shop drawings, RFIs, and related documentation.
Mentor junior staff and promote efficient workflows.
Support project teams with QA/QC and scheduling alignment.
