Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Memphis, TN is seeking a senior BIM/VDC Lead to oversee BIM workflows, align with project schedules, and mentor the VDC team across varied projects.

You will drive the implementation of Turner Digital Build standards, coordinate with construction schedules, lead constructability reviews, manage BIM tools (Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD), and ensure data integrity and safety compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in VDC or related field with 6+ years’ experience or equivalent.
• CM-BIM designation credits preferred.
• Ability to read contracts, drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Strong knowledge of VDC tools, standards, and coordination principles.
• Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced project management and budgeting capabilities.
• Proficient with MS Office and BIM collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee BIM field operations and engineering processes on multiple projects.
• Advise on compliance with Turner Digital Build standards.
• Plan BIM tools and processes per job constraints and allocate VDC resources.
• Develop and refine BIM implementation plans aligned with contracts.
• Provide QC of quantity variance reports for estimating and changes.
• Mentor and lead VDC teams through project planning and launches.
• Contribute to constructability reviews using trade knowledge.
• Communicate BIM changes and impacts to the scheduling team.
• Track VDC change orders and report progress to management.
• Promote EH&S Building LIFE principles on site and in reviews.
• Ensure confidentiality and integrity of BIM data per contracts.
