Job summary

Jacobs seeks a seasoned VDC Lead to manage Digital Delivery in Advanced Manufacturing, coordinating BIM execution, 3D logistics, 4D scheduling, and 5D cost for EPCM projects. This on-site role supports design through construction and uses Autodesk Construction Cloud.

You’ll lead clash detection, laser scan integration, and model as-built processes, mentor teams, and engage with clients and field teams. The position offers hybrid work with occasional site presence and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in VDC/BIM within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of BIM in manufacturing environments for Design and Construction.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Revizto) and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven onsite leadership of VDC activities.
• Willing to work onsite near Corpus Christi, TX.

Responsibilities

• Lead VDC/BIM activities from design through construction.
• Define and implement BIM Execution Plans for EPCM projects.
• Coordinate 3D, 4D, and 5D workflows and ensure model integrity.
• Manage Common Data Environment and clash detection processes.
• Mentor team members and provide field support and training.
